All Girls to School
This event is dedicated to the fundamental right of girls to education, which is not the case in many places. The program was inspired by Malala Yousafzai, a girl from Pakistan who was attacked by the Taliban for promoting education for girls in her country.

5:30 pm “Buddha collapsed out of Shame”, Iran, directed by Hana Makhmalbaf.

7:00 pm panel moderated by Francesca Barzini with: Monica Cirinna’, president of Commissione delle Elette, Soraya Malek of Afghanistan, grand daughter of Amanullah Khan, the reformist king, who in 1921, two years after liberating his country from British rule, started free public schools for boys and girls, Parisa Nazari, one of the founders of “Women for Dignity”, to promote educational rights for Iranian Women.
